The El Riad Dance Club is part of the Sioux Falls El Riad Shrine. The Dance Club hosts monthly dances as well as the annual New Year's Eve dance.
The mission of the Dance Club is two-fold: 1) to host dances that provide a fun and social environment for dancers, which helps 2) to raise money to support the El Riad Shrine and the efforts it supports.
Dances are held at the El Riad Shrine are part of a long-time series of monthly ballroom dances hosted by the Shrine Dance Club. These dances are held on the 2nd Friday of each month and are open to the public. Admission to the monthly dances is $10 per person. The events are smoke-free and dressy or business casual attire is requested.
The ballroom dances at the Shrine often have hour long lessons that are inlcuded with admission and are provided by local instructors. We welcome beginners who are just learning how to dance or are interested in learning how to dance. The Dances are attended by all ages and since ballroom is a social dance, many single individuals attend and have a great time too. Ballroom dancing at the Shrine is a great PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, alot of FUN, a great way to MEET NEW PEOPLE, and supports a GREAT CAUSE.
